At Barco Duratz

After beating CASH 5 0 on Monday night, the Ladydogs followed it up with a 10  0 win over Titusville to bring their record to 9-7-1. We were pleased with the first half of the CASH game, but disappointed in the second half. Tonight against Titusville we kept hard pressure in both halfs.

Meadville was able jump to an early 1 0 lead when Sidney Brown hit a wonderful ball through to Liz Adams who got her first of three goals. It wasn't long after that Karalyn Adams hit Lexie Benak with a wonderful through ball and she got the second goal of the night in under ten minutes Meadville was doing a much better job of not just passing to set up through balls, but were finishing with some authority as well. It was refreshing to seee.

Titusville would continue to battle, but when they would get comfortable being packed in, Meadville would play the ball deep back to their keeper at their end to open up space again. At first the Ladydogs wanted just keep pushing forward, but they settled and did a nice job of creating space. Then, we were able to hit some wonderful combinations. Titusville did a nice job of getting the dogs offsides, however it seemed as if Meadville's timing continued to get better. This allowed for a lot of scoring opportunities.

Our defense did a nice job of helping us posses, create space, and continue offensive pressure. It was nice to see them do this so well. Meadville has the day off tomorrow before beginning its final practices for their last regular season game against Wilmington at home on Saturday, which is also senior recognition day.
