The Lady dogs dropped to 7-7-1 on the season with an 8 0 loss to Pine Richland on Thursday night. We simply need more work at sustaining outstanding defensive play against stronger opponents. Then, we need to be ready to transition at a moments notice. We did a lot of rotation of players to see what we are going to do during playoffs, but we need to commit to the basics at a high intensity. One moment we are playing great and doing our jobs, then we dive at balls against players with outstanding athletic ability and the footskills to match. We simply have to woman up more. 

I love the fact that we are coming off a stretch of four games in six days, it really challenged us. We know we are still not where we need to be. We get an opportunity to break over the weekend, then play CASH on Monday followed by Titusville on Tuesday. The girls get a chance to work on small sided games to improve defending and transitioning tonight. My seniors are disappointed but not discouraged by our recent hardships on the pitch. We still have a chance  to meet our biggest goal of winning two playoff games this season.
