Meadville 0 McDowell 5 at Millcreek

The Ladydogs suffered their worst loss of the season at the hands of the Lady Trojans on Wednesday night, but Coach Miller doesn't believe it was their worst played game. If we focused on the score, and the girls were upset by it, then it looks as if we are way off. However, my girls are instructed daily to have growth mindsets. Therefore, we take what we did well, then improve on it. First, we were physical. Physicality has been an issue with this team, and critical players are pushing themselves to improve here. Second, we didn't give up any breakaway goals, so the defense is having success. Third, we passed the ball better than we did against Villa, yet lost possession at moments where we could've gotten a shot.. The result is: we are allowing teams like McDowell and Villa too much time on our end, which means we need to eliminate the mistakes/breakdowns that lead to them scoring, and put more pressure on them offensively.  I totally believe my players can accomplish this before the end of this season
